Search Arrangement Options

We offer a variety of ways to initiate our search process.

Retainer: Our Preferred Strategy.
A fully retained search is the process for companies sincerely seeking success in the recruitment and hiring process. Its shows your readiness and commitment to fully assess and describe the needs and specifications for your critical position. At the same time it commands our top priority attention to your project as we are being paid as we proceed to find and deliver the top notch candidate that you are going to hire. This level of commitment from both sides is most conducive to full and frank communication about all details that arise during the hiring process and thus guarantees the best atmosphere for success.

Another advantage to this arrangement is that it allows us to use verbiage when recruiting that will make your opportunity stand out from others. As soon as a search has been identified as "Retained" or "Engaged", the perception in the mind of the prospective candidate, is that it must be an important position with a first-class organization if they are retaining a search firm to fill it. We believe this is a true win-win arrangement

Our service fee for a Retained Search is based on a realistic estimate of the new employees’ first full-year base salary plus bonus or commissions.

  • First third of the fee is paid by the client company up-front to bind the commitment.

  • Second third is paid at a specific time during the search process - either at midpoint in time or after the first interview.

  • Final third is paid at the end of the process, and is due when the new employee starts. For Domestic Searches. We do not charge expenses other than employer authorized travel.

Priority (or Engaged) Search
The benefit of this arrangement to you is that your project is our priority. We exclusively present the best candidates for your positions. The benefit to us is that we know you are serious about hiring through us. This mutual trust creates the environment for an excellent working relationship.

Priority search is simply an arrangement where the client company provides us with an agreed upon engagement fee to begin the search process. The engagement fee, which is subtracted from the final fee upon completion, covers our cost to devote exclusive time and customized planning and research to your project.

Contingency
A contingency search is one performed in good faith. Our Account Executives will refer candidates to you that they believe to be excellent matches for your positions. Your company pays only when it actually hires one of these referred candidates per our service fee agreement. It imposes no strong commitment on either the client or the recruiter; however, this can be an effective business arrangement when both parties are in agreement.

Our service fee, based on a realistic estimate of the new employees’ first full-year base salary plus bonus or commissions, and is payable at the time our referred candidate starts employment.
